The ex-manager of troubled singer Britney Spears has been ordered to stay away from her by a Los Angeles judge.US district court judge Philip Gutierrez decided to extend a restraining order on Sam Lufti until March 17th.Lufti must keep at least 250 yards away from Spears and her home.The order follows claims made earlier this month by Spears’ mother, Lynne, that Lufti had drugged the singer, cut her home phone lines and verbally abused her.Lufti’s restraining order is the latest installment in the sad events surrounding Spears.

Like she did in her debut single, “Foolish,” where she re-created the plot from the gangster flick “Goodfellas,” with Terrence Howard, Ja Rule and Irv Gotti filling in for Ray Liotta, Paul Sorvino and Robert De Niro,is following that formula for her latest clip “The Way That I Love You.” This time, she borrowing the concept from a show called “Snapped” from the Oh! channel. “It’s something completely different than anything I’ve ever done before,” Ashanti said of the video to MTV. “… It’s about women who have gotten pushed to the [point] where they feel, I guess, [that it's] necessary to murder their husbands, boyfriends, what have you. It’s actually a documentary like [Tru] TV’s ‘Forensic Files,’ but this one is only for women; when women snap they do crazy things.” The L.T. Hutton-produced track is the first single from Ashanti’s upcoming album, The Declaration, due June 3, according to MTV. It’s her first full-length studio album since 2004’s Concrete Rose. …A judge ruled this week thathas to pay the New York Post’s deputy photo-assignment editor, Jim Alcorn, an undisclosed amount following a 2003 lawsuit Alcorn filed against the rapper for assault, reported the paper. Alcorn, who was a Post photographer at the time, was allegedly knocked down by 50’s security detail outside a jewelry shop, after trying to snap a few photos of the rapper. The photographer was treated for neck and jaw injuries at a nearby hospital, according to the suit. …Since resigning as president of Def Jam in December 2007, there has been a lot of speculation about whatnext move would be. The one on most people’s minds as of late is the rumor that Hov is going to Warner Music Group to start his own label. Sohh.com recently spoke with Kevin Liles, Warner’s Executive Vice President, who addressed the rumors, but still left everything up in the air. “Jay is going to do Jay. I wish him the best of luck in whatever he decides to do. We always gonna be together so it is what it is,” Liles answered cryptically. Lyor Cohen, Warner’s chairman, originally signed Jay-Z to Def Jam in 1997. He previously said, “I would be honored and privileged to work with him again. 50 Cent gives Clinton public 'respec'
US rapper 50 Cent has endorsed Hillary Clinton as the Democrats’ presidential candidate, saying her rival Barack Obama would probably be killed because Americans were not ready for a black president.
In a brief in-car interview aired on Fox News’ O’Reilly Factor, 50 Cent was asked by a British reporter who he would back in the primaries.
He gave his backing to New York Senator Clinton.

50 Cent Allegedly To Pay Photographer Over Assault
50 Cent has allegedly been ordered to pay a fee to an American photographer, over claims he was assaulted by one of the rapper's security guards several years ago.
The assault on Jim Alcorn is said to have happened in Manhattan during 2003 after 50 left a jewellery store.
Alcorn then launched a lawsuit the following year against the rapper himself (although he was not directly involved in the incident).

New Season Starts for Spears' TV Show
LOS ANGELES (AP) — At least one Jamie Lynn Spears mystery is over.
The younger Spears sister’s popular TV character is back at her fictional California boarding school, although the pregnant 16-year-old star of the children’s show “Zoey 101″ is continuing to stay out of the limelight herself.
“Zoey 101″ concluded its third season last month, shortly before Spears, younger sister of Britney Spears, announced she was pregnant with her teenage boyfriend’s child. The show has continued to air in repeats since then, with little fanfare from the network, leading to speculation that its fourth season might be shelved.
“The new season is under way. It premiered last night,” Nickelodeon spokeswoman Marianne Romano told The Associated Press on Monday.

Tracey Edmonds Rebounding with 50 Cent?
Are 50 Cent and Tracey Edmonds dating?
Um, no. But rumors of a possible love match between the hip-hopper and Eddie Murphy’s ex are exploding across the Internet. Reports claim they hooked up at the Sundance Film Festival.
As I first told you, Edmonds attended VitaminWater’s private dinner for 50 Cent on Jan. 19, before his concert later that night at Harry O’s.
While reports have the two practically inseparable, Edmonds' rep tells me the only interaction they had was a simple hello. “They are not dating,” the rep said.
And speaking of Edmonds’ love life, word from the Thompson Beverly Hills hotel on Saturday had it that Eddie's ex was still wearing the engagement ring he bestowed when he proposed in July.

Britney Spears And The Paparazzi: Has Singer Developed Stockholm …
Everyone is trying to figure out what’s wrong with Britney Spears. Blender has a new diagnosis: Stockholm syndrome.
The magazine’s March issue, on newsstands February 12, claims the singer has a “self-created” relationship with the paparazzi, one in which she has been chased for so long and by so many that she has come to not only accept them but need them in her life. The dozen or so photographers who stake her out regularly also change her flat tires, pump her gas, give her directions when she’s lost and often pick up her tab. “She seems to be basking [in the attention], and she seems to be trapped,” Blender writer Michael Joseph Gross observed. “She plays the role they expect her to play.”
Riding along on one paparazzi chase, Spears adviser Sam Lutfi — whose name also frequently appears as “Lufti” — sent text messages on the singer’s whereabouts to the team captain for celebrity-photo agency X17, Gross reported. That outing took place before FinalPixx photographer Adnan Ghalib, described by Gross as an “alpha pap,” became Spears’ on-again, off-again boyfriend. When the chase proved dangerous, one X17 videographer reportedly said, “Somebody’s going to get hurt, man.” If Spears were to get hurt — or worse, killed — during such a chase, his regret would be that he couldn’t sell the video unless he could prove he were calling 911 at the same time. “That would be horrible,” he responded, according to Gross’ article. “No, no. Nobody wants that.”
Some have speculated that the reason Spears has used an English accent as of late — making the leap from being Brit to being a Brit — is that Ghalib has rubbed off on her in more ways than one. Asked on “Entertainment Tonight” if Spears was pretending to be British because of a fascination with Princess Diana, who was also chased by the paparazzi to an extreme degree, Ghalib said no. “She’s never mentioned Princess Diana,” he said. The only thing the two women had in common, he said, is “dating an Arab.”
Though speculation is also rampant that Ghalib is selling photos and video of Spears on the side — a charge he denies — it’s Spears’ relationship with Sam Lutfi that has her friends and family worried. Abandoned by her lawyers, dumped by her management and estranged from her family, Lutfi seems to be the only mainstay in the singer’s life, besides the paparazzi and photo agencies, which he accused Lutfi of being in league with. Besides tipping off X17 as to Spears’ whereabouts, X17 says Lutfi provides other invaluable information. 50 Cent Talks About Eminem's Health
Everyone was wondering what’s going on with Eminem since he suffered a recent heath scare and hasn’t been photographed in over a year. He was hospitalized over the holidays in Detroit with pneumonia and heart problems. Sources say Eminem weighs over 200 pounds, which is borderline obese for his height.
Friend 50 Cent says he’s doing OK, and that reports of his poor health are exaggerated. According to Fiddy, “I got a chance to see him a few weeks ago and people think he is in a worse state than he actually is.”
Also, gossip magazine In Touch recently posted a retraction of sorts regarding Eminem’s recent “fat picture”
“We published what we thought was one of the first pictures of Eminem looking heavy. The National Enquirer labeled the photo “Now” and included no disclaimer that it was a photo reproduction.

Britney Spears’ paparazzo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib has been condemned by friends of the star for revealing her personal voicemails on TV.The British born photographer, who has been dating the ‘Piece of Me’ star since December, played several voicemails left on his mobile phone during an interview on US show Entertainment Tonight.In the clips played, Spears appears to mispronounce Ghalib’s first name as “Aiden”.Spears is heard to say: “Hi Aiden (sic), it’s your favourite person in the whole world, gimme a call, bye.
